Kape-Rua

Kape-rua is an exploration of the connections we forge between one another which are deeply and endlessly rooted in whakapapa. Kape-rua revealed itself throughout the creation of this work reminding us of our umbilical connections to Papatūānuku and beyond. Here, we can say this is a collaboration not only between us but with Te Taiao. It is here that we find our infinite selves. 

He wā hine, he whenua ka ngaro te tangata.

Without women and without land, humanity is lost.
